Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors younger than 16 years. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. Therefore, we encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at marcvangennip@genson.com and we will delete this information.

 

With what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Genson Group processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Sending our newsletter and/or advertising folder
Calling or e-mailing you if necessary to be able to execute our services.

To deliver goods and services to you
Genson Group also processes personal data when we are legally obliged to do so, like data we need for our tax return.

Genson Group does not make decisions about matters which could have (considerable) consequences for persons on the basis of automated processing. We are talking about decisions made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (e.g. an employee of Genson Group) being involved.

 

How long we keep personal data
Genson Group will not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are gathered.

 

Sharing personal data with a third party
Genson Group will not sell your data to third parties and will give them only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies which process your data on our behalf we will make a processor’s agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Genson Group remains responsible for this processing.

Genson Group does not use cookies or similar techniques.

 

View, adjust or remove data
You have the right to inspect, correct or remove your personal data. Besides you have the right to withdraw your possible permission for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Genson Group and you have the right to data portability. That means that you can request us to send the personal data we have of you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to marcvangennip@genson.com. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, erase your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Genson Group would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Authority for Personal Data.
